For the first time ever we could import this attractive tetra from Venezuela. Currently 12 species of Bryconops are described from Venezuela, but most of them are known from preserved specimens only. So our determination is only tentative.
In any case the fish are very pretty; we suppose that they may reach a maximum length of about 6-7 cm, our fish are currently 4-5 cm long.
