Cichla kelberi

5. December 2011

For the first time ever we have Cichla kelberi in stock, a species that was only recognized in 2006. The fish is available only in a very limited number. The species is distinguished from its closest relative, C. monoculus, by the presence of light spots in the pelvic fins, the anal fin and the lower lobe of the caudal fin in adults. Cichla kelberi attains a total length of about 30 cm which means that it is one of the smallest members of the genus. For our customers: the fish has code 636333 on our stocklist. Please note that we exclusively supply the wholesale trade.
