We received very pretty spotted silverdollars from Brazil. The particular variety is sexually differentiated at a very early stage. In our specimens, which are about 6 cm long, the sexes are already distinguished. The males have an orange spot on the shoulder, shining scales on the back and the outer border border of the anal fin has another shape than in the females.
