Almost exactly four years ago we were able to import a pair of albinotic Pacus from Colombia (see http://www.aquariumglaser.de/en/archiv.php?news_id=470). At the time the import was quite spectacular. However, nowadays the fish are offered from southeast Asia already. These animals are by far more handy, because they are only 4-6 cm long, compared with the 16-20 cm long pair from Colombia. Nevertheless the youngsters are as fascinating as the large ones in respect of coloration. But one should always keep in mind that they will grow up to a length of about 60 cm!
