(19.Oct.2007) Last week we received another new item: Schistura pridii. This beautiful small loach (grows up to 4.5cm) comes from Thailand. Exactly they were found in the upper Chao Praya Bassin in the Chiangmai province in the north of Thailand. They come from cool (18-24°C) & fast floating rivers, containing hard and alkaline water, which is highly oxygenated. Rumors says that only a few thousands pieces are available, so we hope that only real specialized hobbyists will try to keep this item with the aim to breed them!
